DenizBank A.Ş. is a large private bank in Turkey. It has been owned and controlled by leading Russian bank Sberbank since 2012. European financial services institution Dexia was the previous owner. DenizBank extended its product range by adding services like investment banking, brokerage, factoring and leasing, which all were formed under the leadership of DenizBank in the "Deniz Financial Services Group". The group of 13 companies employs more than 14,136 people as of 2017. The Group possesses a service network that reaches all segments of the society throughout Turkey. In addition to the 711 domestic DenizBank branches, including one in Bahrain, DenizBank AG have 43 branches in total. In addition, thanks to its Alternative Distribution Channels, DenizBank enables both individual and corporate customers all over the world to carry out financial transactions over the internet.
